Hudson Cargo is a new delivery company preparing to launch in the New York City metro. We are built on one idea: well-trained, well-led teams deliver better. We hire carefully, train fully, and never trade safety for speed.
Who we are
A delivery business run like a well-led team
Hudson Cargo will deliver parcels to homes and businesses across the New York City metro. We are a small company by design. That lets us know every driver by name, train each person before they take a route, and fix problems the day they appear.
Our leadership brings 25 years of building and running operations teams across the UK, US and India. The lessons carry straight over: hire for reliability, train before you scale, track the work every day, and treat safety and compliance as non-negotiable.
How we work
Three rules we do not bend
Safety first
Every shift starts with a vehicle check. Nobody skips a safety step to save time. If a driver sees a risk, they say so, and we act on it.
People first
New drivers train fully and ride with an experienced partner before they run a route alone. Questions and mistakes get support, never blame.
Reliable every day
We plan the work, track it daily, and fix problems on the spot. Customers get their packages on time, and our team gets a clear, fair day.
A day on the route
What a shift looks like
Every route follows the same steps, so every driver knows what comes next.
Pre-trip check
Inspect the van: tires, lights, mirrors, brakes. Report anything wrong before you drive.
Load out
Collect your route and packages at the station. Load in stop order.
On the road
Follow the planned route. Drive safely, deliver with care, keep in contact with dispatch.
Return
Bring the van back to the station. Return any undelivered packages.
Debrief
Short check-in with your lead: what went well, what to fix tomorrow.
